Spiney & the Backbones, a rock band with a lead singer who's only half there, and has an affinity for Alice, was the theme of our garage show for Halloween 2009... a concept that was actually 2 years in the making. (Yeah, we do Halloween serious.) Hope to post some of that set later on. But for now, hope you like this.

As this e-mail blast gets written, I am currently in Marksville, Louisianna getting ready for our show tonight.
We are down to the wire with only 4 weeks to go for our 13th Annual Alice Cooper Pro-AM and we are looking for a complete sell-out.
Many years ago when I was just a wee lad in grade school, I learned the power of multiplication. I ask that you forward this to 10 people. Based on the power and strength of numbers, we have set a goal of reaching 1,000,000 people within 72 hours. Here is how it will work. If you will forward this e-mail on to 10 people and ask them to forward on to 10 people who ask 10 more people, we will have reached 1,000,000 people within 72 hours.

Okay, well here's something fun to download just in time for the holidays. For just $1.99 via iTunes you can have the spanking new single "Keepin' Halloween Alive" just out today.
Your hardly earned money will get you the tune, a "Cooperoke" sing along mix, and a digital book so we can all pretend we got something tangible. But the "flame retarded" book does contain some nice cover art and old school comic style ads. Alice is also mentioned as the "King of all things Halloween" (which I'd say puts him in some stiff competition with one Jack Skellington).
The book also mentions a new website, www.keepinhalloweenalive.com, which appears to simply be parked by GoDaddy at the moment. But that's awful nice of them in case they actually want to use it sometime soon.
Alice is reported as saying he likes to celebrate the October 31 event with his family in style around a spooky tree wearing matching black and orange sweaters and exchanging gifts, so he just wanted to write a song about it. I knew there was something I liked about that guy. Keepin' Halloween alive, honey 3-6-5.
